By accessing or using QuizFetcher, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. We may change these terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

QuizFetcher is an AI research assistant that searches the internet, reads your uploaded documents, and answers with inline citations. It generates interactive quizzes and flashcards from your sources so you can test yourself. The service runs on Vercel and uses AI models via OpenRouter (DeepSeek, Anthropic, Google, etc.) for search, summarisation, and quiz generation.

You agree not to use QuizFetcher to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Conduct automated queries or scrape the service
• Generate or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

QuizFetcher strives for accurate, well-sourced answers, but:

• Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any results
• Is not responsible for content generated from your search queries
• May provide links to third-party websites over which we have no control
• Use judgment when evaluating results. QuizFetcher shouldn't be the sole source for important decisions, especially medical, legal, or financial ones.

All content, features, and functionality of QuizFetcher — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the property of QuizFetcher or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the hosted service or its proprietary assets without explicit permission.

QuizFetcher depends on third-party services to run:

• Hosting on Vercel
• AI processing via OpenRouter (DeepSeek, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
• Document storage via Supabase
• Billing and subscriptions managed by Stripe

Each third-party service has its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

QuizFetcher offers free and paid subscription plans:

• Free. Limited daily searches with basic AI models.
• Plus Monthly. $3.99/month. Unlimited daily searches, all base models, all search modes, quiz and flashcard generation, course projects, and priority support.
• Plus Yearly. $29.99/year (5 months free). Same features as monthly, billed annually.
• Founding Lifetime. $99 one-time (first 100 only). All Plus features forever, no recurring charges.

Payment data. QuizFetcher does not store payment card details, bank information, or other sensitive payment data. All payment processing is handled directly by Stripe.

We may change the availability, pricing category, or tier of specific features at any time without prior notice. We will never take away features you already paid for.

To keep the service fast and fair for everyone:

• Free: 60 AI answers / month, 10 quiz/flashcard sets, 500 MB storage
• Plus: 300 AI answers / month, 600 quiz/flashcard sets, 5 GB storage
• Storage is measured in total bytes across all your uploads. Deleting files frees space immediately.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period
• You keep access to paid features until the subscription expires
• Your account reverts to the Free plan automatically
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions
• All subscription fees are final and non-refundable. Consider this carefully before subscribing.

Your use of QuizFetcher is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizFetcher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

QuizFetcher is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free outputs, or that the service will meet your requirements.

We may suspend or terminate your access to QuizFetcher, with or without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or harms other users, us, or third parties.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
